SCIENCE CLUB - Amstelland (gr 4-7)

​Travel back in time and discover science along the way! In this hands-on after school club, children will explore Ancient Times, from dinosaurs, fossils and volcanoes to ancient inventions and early technology.

Each week brings a new science adventure like: 👀 Explore light, colour & shadows and discover how we see 👃 Investigate different scents, make perfume & create scented stickers 🖐️ Test your sense of touch and discover how your brain can be tricked 👂 Explore sound, vibrations & hearing by building your own sound devices 👅 Discover taste & taste buds through fun flavour experiments

Along the way, they’ll learn to think like scientists: asking questions, testing ideas and discovering how things work - all while having lots of fun!

No previous science experience needed, just plenty of curiosity.

We have a group for students in group 1-4 and another for students in group 5-7. Although the theme of the lesson will be the same, the content will de different.
